Ja, so ähnlich.
Als ich die Romane noch gelesen hatte, gab es Transmitter wo Schiffe im Durchmesser von über 2Km Durchmesser durchgepasst haben.

Edit: Gelesen. Praktisch - aber wird wohl nicht in SC auftauchen (Ausnahme: Erweiterung für die Constellation)
